Today I started my unit on the animation, I've been told to write what I know about animations and write it up on the powerpoint I was able write about what a flick book is. I think for just a couple of sentence it was very detailed. I was also able to talk about Digital applications and Claymation.
for my next steps I would like to be able to expand on my knowledge and do more research about the things I did not know I would like to achieve a merit level at least for this unit.

I have watched "Printed Rainbow"- Gitanjali Rao

This is about a jolly indian woman who enjoys life she lives with her cat in her apartment, this animation just show the woman going about her day in her normal routine, she starts of by waking up going to the bathroom and feeding her cat, then ends by her having good memories about her past with a colourful little notebook containing images. Then peacefully passing away.
I've also started my story board which i will finish by next session.

Today I have completed my story board making all the major changed that is going to happen in the animation, also I timed how long I think each sequence would be. I found out some things about Len Lye and did some research about his generally background and saw an experimental animation made by him and that he was the first person to have used that method.

I started my lesson by recapping the things I remember about bits, and pixels. so I can use my what I know for a little animation I did. (displayed below).
I used Adobe Flash CS6, I created a keyframe, and drew a ball and created classic tween so it has a flowing movement.

I carried on my Powerpoint on animation technique and I done some research on things like Zoetropes Claymation Len Lye and so on...
Also I done some more work on my story board work.
As class we watched a Pixilation type animation called Neighbours which was created by Norman Mclaren, I had to say what I thought about it and I wrote nearly a page analysing the video and expressing what I thought about it through writing.

I received my up to date feedbacks and I did my responses... I carried on with my animation techniques powerpoint. I looked at back at some of my work and recapped on my concepts.

I reorganised my folder and the work that was on my server, I done some work on the animation for the unit 10. I also recapped on how to modify my sound track and crop it and then turn it back to an MP3 file.

Today my plan is to carry on with my animation and do some animation technique presentation so I can keep up to date.
